What devices can I trade in for cash with Reboxed?

We accept a wide variety of electronics — not just phones. You can trade in:

How does the trade-in process work?

Trading in your device with Reboxed is simple — just follow these four steps:

1. Get a quote & register your sale
Choose your device model, condition, and network lock status. We’ll provide an instant guaranteed quote.

2. Pack it up
We’ll send you a free sales pack (or you can print your own label). Packaging is easy and secure.

3. Send your device
Post it using our prepaid label or QR code. For large orders (10+ devices), courier pickup may be available.

4. Get paid fast
Once we receive and verify your device, we’ll issue payment on the same day (Monday to Friday, before 2 pm) via your chosen method.

Will I receive the full value I was quoted?

Yes — as long as your device matches the condition you declared during the quote process.
If we find discrepancies (e.g. more damage than specified), we’ll send you an adjusted offer. You can either accept that or have the device returned to you free of charge.

How quickly will I receive payment?

We aim to process your payment the same day we receive your device, provided we receive it before 2 pm (Mon–Fri, excluding public holidays).

Can I trade in a broken or damaged device?

Absolutely. We accept working and faulty devices. The quote will be lower for items with defects.If your device condition exceeds our thresholds (e.g. missing critical parts or affected by water damage), we may reject the offer or return the device.

How should I prepare my device before sending it?

To ensure a smooth trade-in, follow these steps:


Back up your data externally (cloud, computer, etc.)
Remove the SIM card and any external memory cards
Perform a factory reset or wipe (we’ll perform secure data erasure on receipt)
Record your IMEI number (you can get this by dialing *#06#)
Take photos of your device’s condition
Unpair accessories (e.g. Apple Watch, Bluetooth devices) if applicable

What postage or packaging do I need to pay for?

Free postage options: We provide a free sales pack, QR code or prepaid label for up to 2 devices.

High-value items: You may opt for Special Delivery (insured) to protect your device.

Multiple devices: For 10+ devices in one order, we offer a free courier collection or drop-off.

Registered post: If you choose to send via registered post, costs may range from ~£3 to £6.

We recommend insuring or tracking your parcel, especially for higher-value devices, since we cannot accept liability for non-delivery.

Can I trade in more than one device at once?

Currently, you can only trade-in on device at a time. simply finish the first quote and order, then hit the "trade-in another device" button at the end.

For accounts or businesses seeking to recycle many devices, our Reboxed Business service can offer additional support.

How do you protect my personal data?

Once your device arrives, we run a thorough, industry-standard data wiping protocol to erase all user data permanently.
Even if you don’t perform a factory reset, your data is safe.

Can I track the status of my trade-in order?

Yes. After registering your sale, you’ll get regular status email updates so you always know what’s happening.

What happens if the device condition I reported is inaccurate?

If our inspection finds that your device’s condition differs from what you declared, we’ll send you a revised offer that reflects the true condition.
You have the option to accept that new offer or have your device returned, free of charge.
